SEOUL – Nov. 19, 2020 – A wicked challenge awaits within the Frozen Wasteland in hit character-collection mobile game Destiny Child. Beginning today, brave players can test their grit against the new World Boss and experience a fresh addition to the mesmerizing story as part of a content update, available for free on both App Store and Google Play.
From now through server maintenance on Monday, Nov. 30, the added Fire Type Frozen Wasteland Ziva opens the gates for a new World Boss in Season 14. Players can utilize supporting boost Childs Water Type 5★ Tundra Giltine and Water Type 5★ Grieving Thetis to conquer the World Boss, discover untold stories, and claim valuable rewards. Victorious players can also claim two all-new Childs to be added to their rosters, including Supporter class 5★ Tundra Giltine and Attacker class 5★ Peaceful Ziva. Both Childs boast gorgeous hand-drawn art styles and powerful abilities.
In addition to the new World boss Trial, players can also dive into two celebratory events, including:
- Destiny Child Two-Year Anniversary Eve – To commemorate two strong years of the beloved mobile game, three hot-time events have been added, including the now-underway Summon Mileage 2x Event, the Restoration Mileage 2x Event, and the Equipment Craft Rate UP and Option Transfer Discount Event
- Wheel of Fortune Event – From now until sever maintenance, players can spin the new Wheel of Fortune to earn Fortune Chips, which can be exchanged for 5★ equipment, crafting tools, and summon tickets.
Since its launch in late 2018, Destiny Child has mesmerized audiences with gorgeously-rendered Live2D playable characters, all ready to be collected, customized, and evolved. In this action-packed role-playing game (RPG), players must strategically select from several hundred-strong rosters of ‘Childs’ and engage in player vs. player (PvP), Raid, and World Boss combat to claim victory. All Childs boast unique powers and intriguing backstories, with beautiful cutscenes brought to life with legendary voice actors and actresses.
