Guangzhou, China – July 3, 2025 – NetEase Games is releasing the newest update for mobile battle royale shooter Blood Strike today! The big July patch introduces a new pixelated mode that turns the game into a blocky version of itself, complete with a pixel art make-over and Block Piles full of loot scattered across the map. Other highlights of today’s update include the Shard Store to unlock upgrades mid-match, as well as Shadow Pearls, Portals and Airdrops to allow for even more strategic decisions. “Block Strike” and all its features will be available from today until August 10.

Shutter Island has been transformed into a retro pixel universe! Experience classic Blood Strike gameplay fused with block-building and fast-paced shooter mechanics. All characters, items, and even the UI have received a retro block-style overhaul!
