Vienna, May 7, 2025 – ViewApp, the Austrian development studio and owner of City Transport Simulator®: Tram, today announces that it will now also assume full publishing responsibilities for the title. Following a successful partnership with Dovetail Games, the popular public transport simulation and the City Transport Simulator® brand will now be managed entirely by ViewApp. With this move, the studio aims to steer the future of the City Transport Simulator® series more directly and develop it strategically over the long term.
New Perspectives for City Transport Simulator
The decision to take over the publishing of the City Transport Simulator series stems from the desire to shape the brand’s future more flexibly, directly, and strategically.

For players, this change will not bring any disadvantages—on the contrary. All current features, updates, and content of City Transport Simulator®: Tram will remain fully intact. Future developments can now be aligned even more closely with community feedback, and ViewApp is committed to securing ongoing support and strategic updates.
