Tower of Titans Conjures a Magical Ascent on Meta Quest Later This Year

A hands-first action RPG from Chaossic built on realistic spellcasting, crushing enemy swarms, deep buildcraft, and Titan-scale boss fights

CHONGQING, CHINA - September 8, 2025 - A rolling fireball crackles between your palms, ready for release. Down below, a hundred orcs flood a moonlit courtyard; far above, a Titan’s obsidian fist blocks out the stars. Tower of Titans, the first VR adventure from indie spin-off Chaossic, is coming to Meta Quest later this year. Beginning today, the studio invites VR fans to join the closed-alpha via Discord and help stress-test the tower’s first floors.

Tower of Titans is a hand-tracking action RPG built to make magic feel real. Simple, readable gestures let you shape power with your hands. Cup and compress a fireball until it hums, then push to send it downrange, or arc lightning from your fingertips like Palpatine. The combat loop focuses on big crowd control and satisfying knockbacks, with loot-driven decision making that keeps you experimenting run after run until you are ready to test that power against something the size of a building. Between battles, a deep web of spells, gear, and talents turns every run into buildcraft; Lean into fire-blast control, ice armor and summons, or invent something in between. Because builds play differently, the climb stays fresh from run to run and invites experimentation.

Feel the Magic — Key Features

  • Spellcasting you feel – Five gesture families unlock 25 upgradeable spells: projectiles, shields, beams, summons, and more. Charge a hadouken, hear the energy crackle, watch the fireball form between your hands, then release. If you can picture the move, your hands can perform it.

  • Swarms made satisfying – Fight hundreds of enemies at once and physically clear space with your magic. Combos trigger chain reactions and knockbacks that sweep crowds off their feet and open lanes through the chaos. This kind of crowd control at scale is rare in VR, and Chaossic’s swarm tech keeps the spectacle smooth on Quest hardware.

  • ARPG buildcraft in VR – Rings for every finger, gem-powered bracers, and defensive cloaks change how spells behave. A 270-degree talent constellation turns level-ups into real choices. Your build decisions are meaningful and create distinct playstyles, which drives long-term replayability. End-game builds can completely change how you play, for example upgrade your fireball to pierce multiple enemies and set it up to auto-cast while you channel.

  • Titan-scale boss fights – Just when you start to feel invincible, the arena transforms into a cinematic Titan encounter. Read tells, counter with the right spell, break weak points, and bring down beings that are hundreds of meters tall.

Waves Rise, Titans Fall

In Tower of Titans, you begin as a lowly apprentice who can barely drop an orc, then grow into a force that can carve lanes and break armies.

Using hand gestures to cast magic is the name of the game. Cross your arms to raise a shield. Cradle a growing ember between your palms until it swells into a fireball, hear the crackle, then drive it through a packed formation. Channel lightning as you reposition to line up a clean sweep.

Slain foes drop mana, XP, and visible gear that alters your toolkit on the spot: rings slide onto individual fingers, bracers reshape spell cadence and geometry, cloaks add protection and special interactions.

Spend level-up points on the star-map to sharpen crit chains, boost minions, widen areas, or cut cooldowns. Defeating enemies also levels up your character and your spells, making you into a more powerful offensive and defensive force. Clear the waves, watch the crowd scatter, and step into the Titan phase. Smaller guardians fight at eye level, while larger ones force quick movement across phases as you dodge sweeping strikes, parry beam attacks, and crack exposed weak points. Every victory feeds new ideas and strategies for the next climb.
