The Beat Hits Hard in RAGER, Launching October 9 on Meta Quest and Steam

Twelve handcrafted levels, cinematic boss fights, and a competitive leaderboards set the stage for a rhythm-fueled Early Access debut.

TAMPA, FL – October 2, 2025 Impact Inked and Insane Prey today announced that RAGER, the music-driven VR brawler, will launch into Early Access on Meta Quest and Steam on October 9 for $14.99. Blending timing-based melee combat with an original electronic soundtrack, RAGER transforms every encounter into a battle choreographed by the music itself. Players will clash with robotic enemies in short, high-intensity duels, face intense, cinematic boss fights, and climb online leaderboards to prove their mastery.

RAGER throws players into a shifting digital arena where music and combat are inseparable. As the soundtrack rises, the world forms around you in shards of light and energy. Enemies pour in, moving in time with pounding beats, and every strike of your weapon must match the rhythm if you want to survive. Swords slice in crisp patterns, hammers slam with heavy cadence, and claws unleash rapid flurries that feel like drumming on steel. The battlefield is alive with sound, and your body becomes part of the song.

Each encounter is short, intense, and designed to be replayed. One moment you are parrying robotic fists that crash down in perfect sync with war drums, the next you are ducking under an overhead strike as the bass drops. When a fight ends, the arena dissolves into the void, leaving only the pulse of the music as you prepare for the next round. Boss battles take this rhythm to a higher level, filling the stage with spectacle and forcing you to meet massive, cinematic attacks with perfect timing.

The game’s soundtrack blends darksynth, metalstep, war drums, drum and bass, industrial bass and much more. Produced in-house, each track has been tuned to create readable combat patterns while still hitting with full force. Accessibility options include multiple difficulty tiers and short level lengths ranging from ninety seconds to four minutes, ensuring the game pushes you physically without overwhelming.

At Early Access launch, players will find a campaign of twelve handcrafted levels, each tuned for precision and replayability, with three towering bosses that demand mastery. Online leaderboards will be live from day one, giving every duel a competitive edge and urging players to refine their timing and climb the ranks.

Every update is a step toward making RAGER louder, faster, and more unforgiving on the path to full launch.
