Indie developer Hight will release Penbeat, a DJ-style music player that synchronizes drawing with music, on Steam for Windows on August 7.
Penbeat is a PC application that combines drawing and music performance. As you draw on the canvas, sound is triggered with every drawing stroke, turning the act of sketching into a rhythmic, DJ-inspired musical experience designed to make illustration more enjoyable.
Players can also create their own remixes by combining their favorite songs with included loop samples.
To celebrate the launch, Penbeat will be available at 10% off during its first two weeks on Steam.
