Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! blends fast-paced action and strategic management in a seamless day-night cycle. During the day, players control Louise as she ventures into the planet's dangerous underground zones, battling creatures in real-time 2D side-scrolling combat.
The materials gathered from these expeditions are essential for preparing unique beverages back at the Habitable Zone tavern, where Louise works as manager during the night shift. Players must manage ingredients, master drink preparation, and optimise customer service to keep the tavern running smoothly, while also uncovering new leads tied to her sister’s disappearance and the secrets buried within the planet.
On Planet E1d0r4d0, advanced soul cloning technology allows Louise to return after each defeat, carrying with her the experience and knowledge gained from previous attempts. This mechanic enables players to explore dangerous environments freely, supporting a roguelike progression system that emphasises experimentation and growth through repeated expeditions.
