RELU GAMES’ CO-OP HORROR MIMESIS LAUNCHES IN EARLY ACCESS OCTOBER 27

New Early Access trailer premieres September 29; sign-ups open today for the final Closed Beta Test

ReLU Games, a creative studio under KRAFTON, Inc., today announced that its upcoming co-op horror survival game MIMESIS will launch into Early Access on October 27. Players can check out the new Early Access trailer here before signing up for the final Closed Beta Test.

MIMESIS is a four-player co-op psychological horror game powered by AI technology. In a world where mysterious rain transforms humans into creatures called Mimesis, players must escape via tram, gather resources, and keep the vehicle running, all while paranoia mounts that one teammate may already have been replaced. The MIMESIS AI mimics voices, behaviors, and memories, creating tense psychological battles where trust itself becomes the ultimate trap.

The game was first introduced in June during Steam Next Fest, where it ranked as the #4 most-played demo, generating strong global attention. The Early Access release expands the experience with new maps, monsters, and resources (Scrap), while enhancing cooperative gameplay and survival tension.

Ahead of launch, ReLU Games will host several community-driven activities:

  • Final Closed Beta Test (CBT) from October 10 to 13. The last polish and stability check before release. Sign-ups open today via https://playtest.relu.games/

  • Community Localization Challenge running through October 14, allowing players to directly propose improvements to translations and cultural nuances, ensuring a more immersive global experience. Learn more here on Steam or Discord

  • MIMESIS Creator Challenge is launching with the KRAFTON Creator Network (KCN), KRAFTON's global creator partnership program that supports streamers and influencers in growing with its games. Through an “Early Bird Join Event,” creators who apply during the CBT will receive special benefits, such as reduced eligibility requirements and enhanced revenue share terms.

These initiatives aim to amplify community involvement, foster organic content creation, and shape the game’s global quality ahead of Early Access launch.
