New monster collector The Sky Project: Land of Noris launches public playtest and brand new video

A Kickstarter campaign will launch on October 13th with nearly 1000 followers

Spain, October 5, 2026 - The hand-drawn monster collector The Sky Project: Land of Noris, which features over 200 unique creatures called Noris, permadeath mechanics, strategic 3 vs 3 battles and a vertical world built around exploration, has just launched its first public playtest on Steam together with a brand new intro video, and announced it’s launching its Kickstarter campaign on October 13. For the first time ever, players will be able to enter the universe of The Sky Project in an experience spanning several hours.

The playtest lets players explore the entirety of the plane of Celestia and fight its final boss. This means they get to see the first out of the four planes of the game’s world, which will be increasingly bigger in scale. In this plane they can also discover over 60 Noris, the magical mana creatures that inhabit this world and with whom they can forge contracts, including some very rare alternate-color versions. They can capture and evolve them through a brand new level system, which allows them to prepare their Noris for the challenges that lie ahead. They can also find over 10 relics and over 30 consumable objects that will let them adapt to different situations and improve their strategy.

The playtest also includes several cutscenes that are fully voiced, as well as a taste of the original soundtrack, another key element of the game. The tracks have been composed by Elesky, a Spanish pianist, composer, and content creator known for her passionate interpretations of video game and anime music.

The Sky Project: Land of Noris is being developed 100% by humans and it’s 100% free of AI.

The playtest of The Sky Project: Land of Noris is now available on Steam and players can try it and add the game to their wishlist. If they want to further support it, they can also follow it on Kickstarter. The campaign will launch on October 13 and so far has accumulated close to 1000 followers.
