19th June 2024 - Rayka Studio are thrilled to announce the full launch of their enchanting creature-collecting RPG, Yaoling: Mythical Journey (formerly known as Home of the Yokai) - now available on Steam! Inspired by Eastern fantasy and fusing the best elements of monster catching, deep auto-battlers and wholesome village life, Yaoling: Mythical Journey is a genre-blending adventure unlike any other.

Step into the Land of the Ancients: a mystical realm where humans and magical creatures known as Yaolings once lived in harmony. That peace has been shattered by a creeping corruption, twisting once-friendly Yaolings into dangerous echoes of their true selves.
It’s all up to you. As an up-and-coming Yaoling Keeper, it’s your mission to vanquish the dark force from the land before it consumes every living creature on it. Your journey will take you through 30 vast and varied regions - ancient forests, snow-blanketed plains, sunless gorges, and kingdoms that await your arrival.
But you won’t take this adventure on your own. Form companionships with over 300 unique Yaolings, who won’t just assist you in strategic battles, but will also become your family, helping you to build your very own village. Along the way, you’ll also meet human villagers who may join your community, unlocking new upgrades and stories as your home grows.
Will you stand a chance to win your battles against the darkness that takes over the Land of the Ancients? To succeed, you’ll need to master a rich and rewarding battle system—pitting your team of Yaolings against corrupted foes, the 13 formidable Keepers of the Yaoling Schools, and oh, of course, the terrifying Demon Lords threatening the realm.

Yaoling: Mythical Journey has evolved since its early access launch, and it now offers three distinct ways to play, each bringing its own flavor to the adventure. Dive into the open-world mode and freely explore the original storyline at your own pace. For something a little different, the Pixel RPG DLC offers a story-driven mini-game that branches off from the main world.. Or, if you're in the mood for something a little more unpredictable, the rogue-lite mode delivers exactly that—a wild, standalone experience full of challenge and replayability, accessible right from the main menu.
