STOCKHOLM, JUNE 18, 2025 — The White Rabbit is on the run again, and this time he’s dashing to all new platforms. Beyond Frames Entertainment has announced that the award-winning Escaping Wonderland [TRAILER] from Cortopia Studios (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, Gorn 2) is now available on PlayStation VR2 and Steam VR, following its earlier debut on Meta Quest and PicoXR.
Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s seminal Alice in Wonderland series, Escaping Wonderland tells the story of Molly: a young girl who has stumbled into this world for the first time – or so she thinks. As players unravel the mystery of her identity, they’ll journey through a whimsical world that blurs fact and fantasy, and encounter familiar faces with unfamiliar intentions. Why is the Queen so interested in Molly? What secrets hide beneath the riddles and rhymes? With each puzzle solved and each peculiar encounter, Molly’s place in Wonderland begins to take shape: though whether it’s a dream, a trap, or something far stranger is up to players to discover.
Escaping Wonderland received acclaim from critics and players alike following its debut on Meta Quest last fall, and was named a finalist for the 2025 D.I.C.E. Awards Immersive Reality Game of the Year, the 2025 Webby’s Best Immersive Experience, and took home a gold award at the 2024 NYX Game Awards for Best Storytelling in a VR Game.
Down the Rabbit Hole: Flattened Launches for Free on PC, Android
Escaping Wonderland’s predecessor, which first launched exclusively in VR in 2020, has finally followed the white rabbit to new gaming platforms and is available completely free for a limited time on Steam and Google Play beginning today, following its debut on the iOS App Store in December.
