On April 22 (Earth Day 2026), Inlusio Interactive is announcing the full release of its debut game, The Guardian of Nature, for 21 May 2026 on Steam. For the occasion, the indie studio has partnered with PlanetPlay’s ‘Battle for the Habitats’ initiative. Running from Earth Day until June 5 (World Environment Day), the campaign unites the games industry and players worldwide to protect vulnerable ecosystems.
Inlusio Interactive is excited to announce the full release of its debut game, The Guardian of Nature. The wholesome and cozy point-and-click adventure game released two episodes during its one-year Early Access phase. Now, with the third and final episode, the game leaves Early Access for its full release on May 21, 2026.
The story-driven game reflects the studio’s vision in creating meaningful, interactive and visually striking stories and addresses the interconnectedness of nature, with a particular focus on fungal networks and their vital role in our ecosystems. Inlusio has partnered with Battle for the Habitats (BFTH), PlanetPlay’s flagship Make Green Moves 2026 initiative, running from April 22nd (Earth Day) to June 5th (World Environment Day). The fundraising campaign unites the game industry and players worldwide to protect vulnerable ecosystems.
About the game
The Guardian of Nature is a wholesome, hand-drawn and hand-animated puzzle adventure game, created in a wonderful hand-drawn and hand-animated style, targeting both casual and cozy players and fans of old-school point-and-click games.
Botanist Henry embarks on a magical journey toward the giant Tree of Life when the island is threatened by the arrival of the giant Tramplers. The clumsy intruders are destroying nature and its fungal networks. Only by using his unique size-changing ability and making use of solarpunk machinery, Henry can explore nature in big and small, above and below ground and find a way to put nature back in order.
