Oxford, August 17th, 2023 - Rebellion, one of the world's most successful independent video game developers and publishers, has today announced the launch of Sniper Elite 5: Complete Edition, which brings together Sniper Elite 5 and all the game’s DLC for the first time. Offering hours of additional gameplay, the Complete Edition includes all the content from Season Pass One and Two, offering four DLC missions and a host of weapons and character skins for players to explore.
The Complete Edition will be available from August 24, 2023, digital only, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (£91.99/$109.99/€109.99), PlayStation 4 & 5 (£87.99/$109.99/€109.99), and PC (£87.96/$99.37/€99.37).
Sniper Elite 5 offers unparalleled tactical third person combat as players fight their way across the most immersive maps ever featured in the series, with real-world locations captured in stunning detail. Now, drawing in all the DLC expansions (developed in partnership with Flix interactive), skins and weapons, Sniper Elite 5: Complete Edition gives players the ultimate sniping experience at fantastic value.
In addition to the full original Sniper Elite 5 game, with an engrossing nine mission campaign, Invasion Mode, multiplayer and cooperative play, the Complete Edition also includes: four additional DLC missions: Landing Force, Conqueror, Rough Landing and Kraken Awakes; new weapons including fan favourite the Mosin-Nagant, as well as the P.1938 Suppressed Pistol; four weapon skin packs to give your arsenal a unique look; and three DLC character skin packs, including the much loved American Airbourne and Ghillie Suit skins, along with two additional Karl skins. In addition, players will also get the chance to take out Hitler himself in the Target Führer Wolf Mountain Mission.
Sniper Elite 5 takes place during D-Day in France, 1944, as hero Karl Fairburne joins a covert US Rangers operation to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the coast of Brittany. There he contacts the French Resistance, and they begin to uncover a secret Nazi plot that threatens to turn the tide of the war back in the Nazi’s favour: Operation Kraken. It is now down to Karl to reveal exactly what the Axis forces are planning and end Operation Kraken, and the mastermind behind it, Abelard Möller, before it can be launched.
Sniper Elite 5 also offers more ways to play with friends than ever before. Invade other player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, providing a new dimension to the challenge. Alternatively, players can choose to work together in co-op across all the game’s missions. In addition, players can test their sharpshooting skills in tense adversarial 16 player multiplayer battles, with customisable characters and loadouts that can be upgraded as you earn XP, medals, and ribbons. If team play is more your style, players can join with up to 3 others against waves of enemies in Survival mode.
