FINLAND — November 2026 — Finnish indie game studio Pepperbox Studios has released “Dicebound Destiny” 2.0, the biggest gameplay update to its dark deckbuilding roguelike Dice of Kalma since launch.
The main addition is a completely new gameplay system called Reroll Abilities, which changes how players can reroll their dice. There are 11 different abilities to unlock, each with its own advantages and drawbacks, opening up new ways to play and build strategies.
The update also brings two new skulls, new achievements, cosmetic rewards, and plenty of smaller improvements to the game.
On top of that, Dice of Kalma is introducing seasonal events, where players can earn special outfits by playing during the event. The first event will celebrate the game's one-year anniversary.
With over 1 million downloads worldwide across Steam, iOS, and Android, Dice of Kalma continues to receive new content, with more updates planned for the future.
