Brotherly unveils its cute and gross game with a trailer

PHILADELPHIA, September 8, 2022 - Brotherly is announcing their debut project, City of Murals with a gorgeous trailer.  City of Murals is an action-platformer, 3D metroidvania with some rogue-like elements.  Players will be able to jump, jetpack, glide, grapple, and dash through huge forests, swamps, deserts, underground caves, and alien environments.  Along the way they will battle and befriend disgusting monstrosities and adorable creatures while on the hunt for alien technology that has the power to extend life for hundreds of years.


Without this alien technology, eternalists, people who seek tremendously long lives, will see their ETA, or Estimated Time to the Afterlife, at incredibly small amounts.  If an eternalist’s ETA reaches zero they will die.  Check out the disturbingly cute trailer below.

The world is competing to see who can live the longest. Discoveries of alien technology have increased life spans into the hundreds of years. While the benefits are highly sought after, the acquisition of the technology itself has proven difficult. Despite the danger and commitment required, eternal life hunters, or Eternalists, travel to the edges of the known universe searching for purple, alien, time tech that has the ability to extend life ... and power.

About Brotherly


Brotherly is an American game development company based in Philadelphia.  Owned and operated by Robert Nally, a game development teacher at Drexel University and the University of the Arts, Brotherly works with university students, recent college graduates, and local game developers to help build the world of City of Murals.  Robert Nally’s previous work includes WolfQuest, Jetpack Cat, Just Tactics, and medical applications along with 10 years of teaching game development.  Brotherly’s contributor’s work includes Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Fling to the Finish, Third Power, Groove Catcher, and Super Rock Blasters!
