Beyond the Map, an isometric Survival ARPG, celebrates 6 months in Early Access with a 30% discount

February 27, 2026 — Beyond the Map, the isometric open-world survival ARPG, marks six months in Early Access with major content updates, a new development roadmap, and a limited-time 30% discount.
 

Since launching into Early Access on August 25, 2025, Beyond the Map has received 10 substantial patches, introducing new systems, gameplay improvements, and quality-of-life features shaped directly by community feedback. Notable additions over the past six months include:
 

  • World Tiers and difficulty options

  • Smart Loot

  • Larger inventory

  • Mastery levels (post-cap progression)

  • Sockets & Gems

  • Stone building

  • Partial controller support

  • Improved map and mini-map

  • Steam achievements

  • Stats, skills, and glyph improvements

  • Item comparison

  • Stash sorting

  • Iron tools and additional tool improvements

  • Improved world generation

  • Solo Self-Found mode

  • Performance improvements

  • A new movement system

  • Multiple quality-of-life improvements
     

2026 Q2 Roadmap: Dungeons & Character Customization
 

The main focus of the upcoming updates in Q2 will be Dungeons, starting with the Abandoned Mines, hidden deep in the iron quarries. Long ago, the Boneweavers tunneled through these caves to reach ancient graveyards and crypts, slipping unseen past the spirit beasts that patrolled the surface.
 

For players, these tunnels will soon become an endless source of loot, challenges, and experience, forming the core of the game’s “infinite” endgame progression.
 

Another notable update planned for this period is a revamped character creation system. Instead of the 3 pre-defined options, players will be able to choose their own character traits, customizing their hero to fit their playstyle and intended role.
 

As always, additional updates will introduce new items, skills, glyphs, and quality-of-life improvements throughout Early Access.
 

Limited-Time 30% Discount
 

To celebrate the six-month milestone, Beyond the Map is available at 30% off for a limited time. The discount runs from February 26 to March 12, and again during the Steam Spring Sale (March 19–26).
 

With a growing feature set and ambitious roadmap ahead, Beyond the Map continues to evolve into a deeper survival ARPG experience shaped alongside its community.
