41 Days - Minimalist Pandemic Simulator gets an Anniversary Desktop Release

41 Days - Minimalist Pandemic Simulator is celebrating a 1 year anniversary with a free desktop release. Originally released in August 2020 on Google Play; after a year of content updates and improvements, the game is released for free on major gaming portals.

Players are challenged to strategically place quarantine lines to contain the virus for 41 days. The game was conceived in the global pandemic and lockdowns. The developer's goal was to transfer the difficulties of the fight against the pandemic on the game screen. Frustrations are an integral part of the game - some individuals don't follow the rules set by crossing between quarantine lines, much like in real life.

Historically, quarantine practices started in the 14th century to protected the cities from plague epidemics. The name "quarantine" was derived from the Italian phrase "quaranta giorni" which means 40 days. This etymology inspired the title of the game in hope that the World will get back to normal after 41 days.
