The first weekend of October was all about Legacy of Valor and its soundtrack. On Saturday, we welcomed influencers, members of the development team, and special guests for a closed presentation followed by an evening program inside the castle.
Among the attendees were Czech creators such as Pavel Mikeš (Herdyn), Robert Picka (Robdiesalot), Radek Starý (Sterakdary), Jiří Burýšek (Jirka vysvětluje věci), Theresa Blueberry, Petr Brunner (EvilBender47), and Pavel Vacek (Pavlis). International guests included global creators lionheartx10, Jackie Fish, and Kormakrtv.
Throughout the weekend, the castle courtyard came alive with knightly tournaments, fencing performances, and medieval music, all bringing the authentic atmosphere of the Legacy of Valor world to life.
On Sunday, the gates were opened to the public and with good weather on our side, the castle quickly filled with families and visitors. Children and adults alike enjoyed knightly duels, music, and the chance to try out the first playable build of Legacy of Valor. The mood was fantastic, smiles everywhere, and the whole day had a lively, friendly atmosphere.
The highlight of the weekend was the live recording of one of the main soundtrack pieces inside the castle chapel. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical, giving many attendees goosebumps a reminder of why combining games with music, culture, and history makes so much sense.
The entire weekend is being documented in a short film and music video that will showcase not only the creation of the soundtrack for Legacy of Valor but also the beauty of Brandýs nad Labem Castle. Our team’s goal is to follow in the footsteps of Czech studio Warhorse and continue linking game development with national cultural landmarks through modern creative work.
