Turn-based Tactical RPG Lost Eidolons Enters Closed Beta Testing on September 30

Take your turn and unleash your army for the first time in Lost Eidolons as the single-player turn-based tactical RPG will run its initial closed beta testing September 30 to October 6. Ocean Drive Studio will welcome players to participate in three closed beta tests this year to help assure it is leveraging community feedback to make sure the game reaches its potential.

Interested players can apply now to participate in all three closed beta tests and join the community now on the Discord server. Lost Eidolons puts players in the epic fantasy world Artemesia, playing the role of the mercenary Eden through an episodic campaign to take the empire. Strategic planning and tactical execution are necessary to seize victory on a classic isometric grid with modern features.

A new gameplayer trailer showcases what will be available in the first beta test, including:

  • The first 8 of 27 episodes that will comprise the game upon launch

  • Lost Eidolons’ tactical turn-based combat

  • Six different sections of your camp, including the tutorial, activities and sidequests

  • Several fully rendered cutscenes (voiceover to come later).

  • A variety of units to offer diversification to battle

  • Character customization and class advancement to better understand player preferences

Ocean Drive has also updated its press kit with new key art pieces and screenshots featuring the turn-based gameplay and character customization features.
