We set out to make a game that keeps you guessing, keeps you laughing, and keeps your heart pounding. It’s a frantic scramble to loot, fight, and outlast your enemies. No safe zones. No hand-holding. Just you, your squad, and whatever you can scavenge. But here's the part people can't stop talking about: you can also control wild Nordic animals - with deadly intentions.
We took the best of looter shooters - the tension, the gear grind, the "just one more round" vibe, and stripped out the grindy, punishing parts. Progression still matters, but the real magic is in the moment-to-moment mayhem. Every match is a new story. No repeats. No boredom.
We built this game side-by-side with our community. Playtesters helped shape the combat, polish the pacing, and tune the fun factor - to 11 (if you get that reference you’re probably pretty old). Now it’s ready. And we can’t wait for you to jump in, gear up, and ride something ridiculous into battle.

About 5 Fortress
5 Fortress is an indie developer based in Boden, a snowball throw from the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden. The studio was founded in 2021 by Johan Sundqvist and Emil Darsbo, to develop unique FPS shooters of the highest quality. Striden has been in development for around three years.
