Berlin, September 15, 2025 – Just a few days after its Early Access launch on September 10, 2025, Star Birds has achieved the coveted “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam. As of September 15, 2:00 PM CEST, Star Birds has received 620 reviews, with 95% of them positive.
According to Steam DB, Star Birds is now number 1 in Hot Releases and number 11 in Popular Releases.
As a small token of our appreciation for the community, Toukana and kurzgesagt have teamed up with fellow indie studios to bring some special treats:
- Thanks to Square Glade Games, the creators of Outbound, players can now unlock an Outbound Van as a miniature in the Star Birds main menu.

The Early Access phase of Star Birds marks the start of a close collaboration with the community.
