Pop-Up Event That Celebrates the Card Art of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Coming Soon to Rome

London, United Kingdom — 22 Sept. 2025 — Today, the Pokémon Company International announced Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Plaza, an art gallery–inspired pop-up experience coming to Rome, Italy, on 30 Sept. 2025 and 1 Oct. 2025.

During this event, Trainers can look forward to experiencing the artwork of cards available in Pokémon TCG Pocket in a gallery-inspired setting themed around three different Pokémon habitats — beach, mountain desert and grasslands. This event comes as Pokémon TCG Pocket approaches its first anniversary and features on-site activities including a scavenger hunt, a photo opportunity celebrating booster pack artworks, and comments from popular Pokémon TCG card artists on the artwork they created for in-app cards.

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Experience & Pokémon TCG Pocket 1st Anniversary Museum
Trainers can also learn more about the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution expansion and celebrate the upcoming one-year anniversary of Pokémon TCG Pocket by visiting a separate experiential space, which will be touring though various countries beginning in October 2025.
The Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Experience is a walk-through experiential space where Trainers can admire some of the riveting cards from Mega Evolution in life-size dynamic displays.
The separate Pokémon TCG Pocket 1st Anniversary Museum space features 10 digital murals that will immerse Trainers in the world of Pokémon TCG Pocket pack openings, battles, card artwork, missions, display boards and card animations specific to each expansion that has been released. Visitors will have a separate stamp rally card for this experience and can show their completed cards to receive a unique code that can be redeemed for a one-time use 24 pack hourglass code, to be redeemed here.
