House of the Lost: Revived Is Coming to Steam This October

The 2012 mobile roguelike pioneer that vanished from the App Store and returned rebuilt now heads to PC, adding two-player co-op and full controller support

TULSA, OK. - September 1st, 2026 - F5 Games today announced that House of the Lost: Revived, its top-down action roguelike, is coming to PC via Steam in October 2026, just in time for the Halloween season. The Steam version includes two-player co-op and full controller support, both new to the series. The store page is live now, and players can wishlist the game at https://store.steampowered.com/app/5062020/House_of_the_Lost_Revived/

House of the Lost: Revived blends the chaotic energy of The Binding of Isaac with the dungeon-crawling charm of classic Zelda. Players take up a slingshot to search a haunted house for their missing sister, battling through randomized floors where layouts, enemies, and challenges reshuffle every run. A weapon-crafting system turns scavenged items into absurd tools of destruction, and four distinct environments each hide their own enemies, secrets, and bosses.

The game carries an unusual history to PC. Originally released in October 2012, House of the Lost was among the first roguelikes on mobile, earning praise from TouchArcade as "the closest thing to iOS Spelunky." Removed from storefronts in 2019 when its aging codebase could no longer keep pace with modern platforms, it was rebuilt and relaunched on iOS and Android in July 2026, where Pocket Gamer called it "quite compelling" as a premium package.

On PC, the House gets bigger. Two players can brave its halls together in co-op for the first time, and the game has been tuned for controllers, with Steam Deck support a priority for the team.

"The Binding of Isaac comparison has followed this game since 2012, and PC is where that audience actually lives," said Brandon Pollet, game designer and developer at F5 Games. "Bringing the House to Steam, with a second player along for the run, is the version of this game we've wanted to make for over a decade."

House of the Lost: Revived will launch on Steam this October. The mobile version is available now, free to try, on the App Store and Google Play.
