THURSDAY OCTOBER 15th, 2026: Feral Interactive has today announced that Hitman: Absolution – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will release on October 22nd. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available as a standalone purchase as well as an Upgrade Pack for owners of the original Nintendo Switch version:
- From launch day, owners of Hitman: Absolution on Nintendo Switch will, for a limited time, be able to download the Upgrade Pack from the eShop for free. From November 5th, the Upgrade Pack will be priced at $9.99 / €4,99 / £4.99.
- For players who own a Nintendo Switch 2 but have not yet purchased Hitman: Absolution, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch on the eShop with a 25% discount, priced at $29.99 / €24,99 / £19.99. From November 5th, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be priced at $39.99 / €29,99 / £24.99.
- Increased output resolution in both Handheld and TV mode.
- A new Performance graphical preset in both Handheld and TV mode, targeting 60fps.
- Improved animations and visual effects to create richer environments.
- Joy-Con mouse support.

Contracts mode will also be available on release day, allowing players to create their own assassination assignments, then share them online to challenge other players to beat their score.
Hitman: Absolution – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will release on October 22nd. The original Nintendo Switch version remains available to purchase on the Nintendo eShop.
