LONDON, UK – October 29th, 2025 – APEX GAME STUDIOS LTD, today announced that their new psychological horror title, Spirit Catcher 93', will be launching on Steam on November 12th, 2025. Following its debut on the Epic Games Store, the retro-futuristic digital nightmare is ready to capture the fragmented souls of a massive new audience.
Enter the Digital Abyss of '93
Spirit Catcher 93' is a single-player, first-person horror game that plunges you into a desperate, retro-futuristic digital nightmare. You awaken not as a person, but as a shattered fragment—an echo of consciousness severed from its past—with only a desperate, unthinking pull toward escape.
In this fractured reality, there is no safety. A force of unnatural order, the relentless Shepherd, stalks your every move. He is silent, methodical, and forever on your trail, determined to capture what you have become.
To fight back against this digital terror, you wield the mystical Spirit Catcher, a twisting conduit of raw energy. You must find a way to make it work to carve a desperate path through the darkness, or be consumed by it.
Beyond the immediate survival, a deeper mystery beckons: Uncover the elusive truth hidden within this fractured reality. Are you merely a simulation? Are you dead? Part of a terrifying experiment?
This game is designed to be a true challenge. It draws inspiration from classic, difficult games, meaning we deliberately minimize hand-holding. There are no tutorials to guide your every step, no safe spaces to retreat to, and no easy answers. You'll need to rely on your wits, observation, and skill to survive.
Spirit Catcher 93' will be available for purchase on Steam on November 12th, 2025. A specific launch date will be confirmed soon. Fans can Wishlist the game on Steam now to be notified of the official release.
