Crossout players get a “New Frontier” to explore

The update brings more vehicle parts and activities for Wasteland warriors

Gaijin Entertainment announces the release of the “New Frontier” update in the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout. The main event of the season is the return of the Founders faction, which brought new weapon systems, wheels, cabins, and new frames for assembling new unique armored vehicles. Update also brings a new location, “Cradle of Mind,” cool rewards for the “Battle for Uranium” brawls, and events in honor of April Fools’ Day, including the unique battle “Toy Car Inside”.

“Toy Car Inside” is a team PvP brawl in which players fight in pre-installed armored vehicles inside a huge leviathan. Many elements of the environment, including the floor and walls, can be destroyed. Inside the leviathan, there is a giant weapon that can be used either as a trap for the player, or as another way to deal with the enemy.

One of the new cool weapon systems is the “Commit” crossbow, which shoots metal beams. They deal increased damage to structural parts and throw the enemy back when they hit. If they miss, the beams get stuck in the environmental objects and deal damage to those who run over them. Another interesting new car part is the “Widget” wheel with variable suspension, which can be raised and lowered at the player’s command. When raised, the car becomes slower, but its visibility and resistance to incoming damage are improved. Finally, the new legendary “Compiler” cannon not only fires a burst of three shells at once, but can also work in an alternative indirect fire mode for targeting enemies hiding behind cover.

“Cradle of Mind” is the first truly two-level battlefield in Crossout. Player spawn points are located in such a way that opponents meet and engage in combat mainly on the left side of the map. There are hills, shelters and underground passages designed for battles. The central part of the map consists of underground passages and provides room for tactical maneuvers, allowing one to quickly retreat or quietly drive into the enemy’s rear and arrange a surprise attack.

In honor of the start of the new season, all players can receive a Bedouin armored car with unique hologram caps “Sand Whirlwind” as a gift! To do this, players need to log in to the game before March 27th and accept the gift in the garage.
