City Bus Manager Expands on Consoles with Four Major DLC Launches this Month!

Enhance your bus company in the beloved management title with brand new projects, from Electric and International Busses to Holiday Resorts and Student Transportation, City Bus Manager just got so much bigger!

Paderborn, Germany, May 22nd, 2026: Following the successful console launch of City Bus Manager on PlayStation and Xbox, simulation specialists PeDePe and publisher Aerosoft are pleased to announce that all major DLC expansions for the game will officially arrive on consoles on May 28th, 2026.

Launching simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the new content lineup significantly expands the management possibilities available to console players, introducing new buses, gameplay systems, transport specialisations, and operational challenges across four major DLC packs.

Since its original PC release, City Bus Manager has welcomed hundreds of thousands of players worldwide, and thanks to its innovative use of OpenStreetMap data players have been able to build and manage bus companies in virtually any real-world location on Earth from their Xbox and PlayStation. From dense metropolitan areas such as New York, Berlin, and Tokyo, to rural villages, coastal resorts, or players’ own hometowns, the game’s deep management systems and replayability have helped establish a passionate and highly engaged simulation community across both PC and consoles.

Now, console players will be able to expand their operations even further with four substantial DLC expansions:

  • E-Bus & Green Energy: Introduce sustainable transport solutions with electric buses, charging stations, energy management systems, and environmentally focused operational planning.
  • Holiday Resorts & Sightseeing Buses: Expand into tourism and leisure transport with sightseeing routes, resort-focused passenger services, and specialised tourist transportation systems.
  • International Bus Pack: Diversify your fleet with a wide range of internationally inspired buses, bringing additional visual variety and transport styles to your company.
  • School Bus & Student Transportation: Take responsibility for student transportation logistics with dedicated school routes, scheduling systems, and new management challenges focused on safe and efficient transport.

Together, the DLC expansions introduce new strategic layers to City Bus Manager, allowing players to adapt their companies to specialised transport sectors while expanding the scale and complexity of their operations. Players can also pick up all four DLCs together and benefit from a 27% discount on PC, and 17% discount on consoles!

“We’ve been incredibly happy to see console players embrace City Bus Manager since launch,” said Niklas Polster, co-founder of PeDePe. “whilst we’ve been hard at work with the recent PC release of Global Rescue, bringing the DLCs to consoles has been a major milestone for us for quite some time, because these expansions add entirely new ways to play and manage your company. We’re excited to finally let console players experience the complete City Bus Manager ecosystem.”

“City Bus Manager continues to grow into one of the most comprehensive transport management experiences available,” added Maarten Janello, Product Manager at Aerosoft. “The DLC expansions introduce new challenges, new management systems, and more depth for players who want to take their transport companies even further.”

The City Bus Manager DLC expansions will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 28th, 2026.
