Solo studio Blank Cartridge Games today announced a free demo for Chip Sweeper, a color-matching falling-blocks puzzle game for PC and Steam Deck. The demo arrives on Steam in November 2026, and the full game launches in 2027. The Steam page is live now.

About the Game
Grandma's been visiting shady websites again. She answered another scam call too. Now her computer is full of bugs, and she needs you, her very smart grandchild, to clear them out!
Boot up Chip Sweeper and drop chips onto the board. Match four colors in a row and delete every bug before the system crashes.
Follow Grandma through 10 story scenarios, each with its own theme and gimmick. Popups cover the board. Bugs change colors. Every cleared scenario unlocks a new visual theme and music track.
Rather play with friends? Up to four players share one screen. Build combos to send garbage chips down the rails into another player's board, and pick who takes the hit. CPU opponents can fill any empty seat.
Chasing a high score? Marathon mode starts at level 0 or 20 and runs until you top out, with Steam leaderboards tracking the best runs.

"I grew up playing a game like this with my family. We'd play against each other and run tournament brackets. Those are some of my favorite gaming memories from when I was a kid. I still think about playing with my own grandma. I wanted to bring those nights back with my friends, but I couldn't find the game I wanted on Steam. So I'm building it.
