About Carnival Hunt

Carnival Hunt is a 5v1 first-person asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where one player takes on the role of the Monster, while five players become fragile wind-up Rabbits trying to survive, complete objectives, and escape the carnival together.

The game is built around tension, teamwork, stealth, resource management, and psychological pressure. Rabbits are not powerful fighters. They need to hide, coordinate, manage their wind-up charge, and use the environment carefully if they want to escape.

Core Gameplay

The Rabbits’ main goal is to work together, complete objectives, collect gears, move through the carnival, and eventually open the final gates. The Monster’s goal is to hunt down the Rabbits before they can escape.

A key part of Carnival Hunt is the wind-up mechanic. Rabbits slowly lose charge over time and need wind-up keys to keep going. Keys can be used to wind yourself, help teammates, and interact with important mechanisms.

However, winding makes noise, and that noise can give away your position to the Monster. This creates constant risk and forces players to think carefully before acting.

Vertical Progression and the Monster

Carnival Hunt’s maps are designed around vertical progression. Rabbits move floor by floor through the carnival, completing objectives and trying to reach the final escape.

This gives each match a strong sense of escalation. The deeper the round goes, the more dangerous it becomes.

In the current playtest, players can experience the Magician, an illusion-based Monster who uses tricks, misdirection, teleportation, invisibility, imposters, and other abilities to catch careless Rabbits.
