Individual game developer NEO*PUN is pleased to announce the release of Bloom Thrice on Steam today, June 19th, 2025. Bloom Thrice is a 2D action-adventure game, where you explore the gamified “Beautiful World”, play (fight) with residents.
To celebrate the launch, the game will be available at a special 20% discount for two weeks, bringing the price from ＄9.99 down to＄7.99 . The game is compatible with Windows. Additionally, an original soundtrack featuring 35 in-game tracks plus 1 extra track will be released on the same day.
As a player, you are invited to “Beautiful World”, where no one gets hurt. You are going to explore colorful areas, gather collectibles, and engage in playful battles (it doesn’t hurt at all!).
The demo version was released in December, and this time, the developer is excited to bring you the full version of the game.
Game Features
Highly Flexible Exploration and Collection
From iconic locations like Sunset Mountain to Tower of Duel, Bloom Thrice features 9 unique areas packed with over 150 collectibles, including HP cards, skillcards, and badges. Some equipment even enhances your movement abilities—allowing you to reach places that might seem out of reach at first glance.
If you're confident in your skills, you may be able to challenge the final boss without progressing much of the story. And if you wish, you can even transform the entire world into a high-difficulty action…. There are also some difficult achievements.
Unique Gimmicks
Some areas may throw unexpected twists your way. In the Attraction That Lets You Feel Like a Hamster, you'll dash across spinning platforms while dodging incoming projectiles. Elsewhere, you'll trigger switches with bombs or ride swift currents of wind.
There’s no shame in picking skills that make things easier—sometimes, being clever is the smartest way forward!
Intense Battles
Even in the gentle world, battles can be fierce. At times, enemies may unleash dense bullet patterns, but don’t worry: you can cancel out projectiles. Make full use of your mobility to find your own path to victory.
There are 20 unique bosses, some of them quite tricky, requiring well-thought-out strategies to overcome. But surely, the final boss is just a classically strong one… right?
The Story Intertwined with the Game System
As the player, you are invited by the goddess to this "Beautiful World." Her only instruction is simple: “Explore freely, and when you feel like finishing your adventure, return to where you started.” There is no pain or villains, and yet your exploration might sometimes reveal glimpses of the true nature of “Beautiful World.”
Whether you rush toward the ending, ignoring the everyday stories with residents, or venture to the farthest edges of the world—that is entirely up to you.
