REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – February 20, 2024 – In a new trailer debuted today, Arc Games and Snapshot Games revealed, Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, a new action-packed strategy game that combines thrilling third-person action with the strategic depth of real-time strategy (RTS) gameplay – all set in a colorful, comic book-style world brimming with a unique cast of characters. Whether strategizing in battle or diving into the action firsthand, players will find a uniquely engaging and heroic adventure that keeps them coming back for more. As part of Steam Next Fest: February Edition from February 24 to March 3, the first-ever demo of Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids will be available for players to experience this exciting heroic action RTS adventure before it launches on PC, Xbox and PlayStation this spring with cross platform play support at launch.
Developed by the Bulgaria-based development studio Snapshot Games, led by Julian Gollop, Founder & CEO, who’s best known as the creator of X-COM, the team were on a mission to create a game that seamlessly blends both 3rd person action and the essence of RTS gameplay they know and love. With this mission in mind, they landed on Chip ‘n Clawz vs.The Brainioids, a family-friendly and co-op-friendly adventure that brings a fresh and action-packed take on classic strategy games!

Shortly following today’s announcement, the first-ever demo of Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids will be playable during Steam Next Fest from February 24 through March 3. The demo will give players plenty of Chip ‘n Clawz action to dive into, as it’ll feature online and local campaign co-op and PvP multiplayer support, four Mission levels, two Challenge levels, two PvP maps, and plenty of weapons, mods, collectibles and base building options!
