World’s first VR social collectible card game Cards & Tankards expands ahead of October launch
An exciting new CCG for Meta Quest and SteamVR
Following a highly-popular stretch on Early Access via Meta AppLab and Steam, Divergent Realities will bring the 1.0 version of the game to players everywhere in October.
To celebrate the announcement, the developer has today added a brand-new player faction to the game - a huge free expansion that rewards current and ongoing players with a whole new way to play.
Cards & Tankards is an exciting new CCG for VR platforms - the very first of its kind. The game invites players to step into its immersive and cosy tavern and go head-to-head in gripping card-based battling matches.
Now featuring four playable factions - each with their own unique combat mechanics - and over 160 cards from which players can build their decks, Cards & Tankards is an impressively deep social tabletop game which evokes the feeling of sitting down with friends in a welcoming setting to play together, regardless of where in the world they are.
Anyone familiar with Han Solo's Holochess set or Wizards' Chess from The Wizarding World will understand the appeal of watching their tabletop characters come to life in front of their eyes, and Cards & Tankards finally realises this much yearned-for experience.
Following two years of development, Divergent Realities is ready to share Cards & Tankards and its fantasy realm of characters with the world this October. It doesn't end there though - the development team plans to support the game with expansions every 4 months for free!

Cards & Tankards will launch in full on the Meta Quest via AppLab and Steam in October this year. However, interested players can try the game, including the brand-new fourth faction, right now for free via AppLab.
