Voice of Red Dead Redemption's Seth Briars Earned Webby Nod for Innovative Word Game, Reveals Lifelong Inventor's Journey

Kevin Glikmann, Known for Iconic RDR Role, Shares Disney Imagineering Backstory Behind His Webby-Nominated Puzzle Game, WordGlyph

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 12, 2025 - Kevin Glikmann, the actor who voiced Seth Briars in Red Dead Redemption, is also the inventive mind behind WordGlyph, an innovative word puzzle game that recently earned a nomination for a 2025 Webby Award. Hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by The New York Times, the Webby Awards recognized WordGlyph in the AI, Immersive & Games category (Puzzle, Trivia & Card Word Games).

While millions know Glikmann's voice from Red Dead Redemption, fewer know that both his acting and lifelong passion for inventing stem from the same creative drive—imagination, problem-solving, and building something new. That inventive spirit showed up early: in 1978, at age 10, he designed a roller coaster called the Quadrupuler—complete with blueprints and a balsa wood model—and mailed it off to Disneyland, convinced they'd want to build it. Every day, the ten-year-old raced to the mailbox, hoping for a response.
And one day a letter arrived from Tom Fitzgerald at WED Enterprises, now Disney Imagineering.

"That letter was rocket fuel for my 10-year-old self-esteem," Glikmann recalls. "It gave me bulletproof resilience. It taught me my ideas had merit, even if they faced rejection—a lesson that's been invaluable in both my inventing endeavors and my acting career, which demands persistence."

WordGlyph is the latest manifestation of this drive, stripping letters down to their essential components—equal-length sticks—demanding a unique blend of linguistic knowledge, spatial reasoning, and strategic efficiency.

"WordGlyph challenges players to think about letters and words differently," Glikmann explains. "It's not just about vocabulary; it's about pattern recognition and optimization. Like building that roller coaster model 'one piece at a time' decades ago, solving a WordGlyph puzzle requires focus and finding the most elegant path.
