Tokyo, Japan - August 18, 2026 - Rice Games has added 16 new Steam Achievements to Shujinkou, specifically covering Shujinkou: Akuma Quests DLC and Shujinkou: Swimsuit Quests DLC, which both released last year.
The new achievements are available now on Steam and can be unlocked by progressing through the two additional content packs.
For players who have already completed the corresponding requirements locally, Shujinkou will automatically unlock the applicable Steam Achievements when their existing save data is loaded. We apologize to players for the lengthy wait in bringing the DLC achievements to Steam and thanks the community for its continued patience and support.
Development is also continuing on Shujinkou v1.46, which will introduce leaderboard functionality. A stable version is currently undergoing additional testing to ensure that the feature operates correctly across all applicable platforms, including Steam and PlayStation.
The leaderboard system includes several platform-specific and gameplay edge cases that require further QA before v1.46 can be finalized and released to the production branch.
Furthermore, it will take a little bit more time for Shujinkou v1.45 to reach Nintendo Switch (as version 1.1.0). Please continue to remain patient until the patch has been verified and released!
Looking further ahead, Rice Games is planning another major update—currently expected to be v1.47 or a later version number—for approximately October or November 2026.
The update is expected to address a number of longstanding annoyances, smaller quality-of-life issues, and other tedious bugs reported by players and identified internally by the development team.
