Independent game developer aramaa will release Shiftomino, a puzzle platformer for PC, on Steam at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on Friday, October 30, 2026. For the first week after release, the game will be available at 20% off its regular price of US$4.99.
In Shiftomino, players use a special ability called "Shift" to move a little soul from block to block and solve puzzles across a series of stages.
One day, the protagonist falls from a moon floating in the sky onto a mysterious planet. As they progress through the stages, they may eventually find a way back to the moon.

GAME OVERVIEW
At the heart of Shiftomino is "Shift," an ability that lets players transfer the protagonist's soul between blocks.
Players can control the block that contains the soul. By pushing the block they are controlling against another block, they can "Shift" into it.
Pushing blocks of the same color together makes them join to form a single larger block.
Players must make use of blocks of different shapes and colors to find their way through each stage.

Simple Controls
The controls are simple and intuitive, and the game can be played using just the D-pad. It is accessible even to players who are new to games.
Simple Yet Challenging
The stages are designed to reward careful thought. With no time limits, players can take their time and work at their own pace. The puzzles are challenging, but even players who aren't confident in their puzzle-solving skills can work through them with careful thought.
Retry as Often as You Like
There is no penalty for failure, even if the protagonist falls into lava. With no time limits, players can tackle each stage at their own pace.
Small gems scattered throughout the stages allow players to undo their previous move. Each collected gem grants one use of the "Undo" ability.
