Description
Poop City is a casual game in which you play as a dog that poops all around the city. Passers-by step in the dog dirt, leaving skid marks behind them. The longer the trails of poop, the more points you earn. Make sure you stop the cleaners from sweeping the marks or you'll lose points.
The game takes place in a 3D sandbox world from a bird's eye view. All levels are lovingly designed and delight the player with vibrant colors and a variety of props. Explore each level and its challenges. The countdown begins with the first poop. Now it is a matter of strategically placing the dog poop in such a way that as many passers-by as possible step into it.
The challenge increases with each level. There are cars that you have to dodge to avoid being run over. But you can also take advantage of the dangers: for example, place piles on the road so that the cars drive over them and you earn points. Railways follow, and the level of difficulty increases.
Higher levels add another game mode: you can shoot with poop. This can first be tried out on a sheep farm. Here, too, the cleaners are causing a stir. And if you want you can activate bonus levels to repeat all previous levels in shooting mode.

Personal Game History
[Jochen Brunhorn, Solo Developer]
“Some days, walking around town, the dog poo around would drive me insane. As I was thinking about how I could not constantly be annoyed by this nuisance, an idea came to me. Why not give the problem a positive connotation? What if there was something that made me smile every time I saw one of these little buggers? And indeed, after playing my own game for many hours (in the testing process), it totally happened! Now when I see a pile of dog poo, I think for a moment: That's worth a thousand points :)”
About XOIris Games
XOIris is a side project by Jochen Brunhorn, located in Aschersleben, Germany. Being a school teacher at daytime, he teaches kids Maths and Computer Science. Game development is a vital part of motivating his students, involving young people to encounter the joys of maths, physics, and computer science by developing simulations and computer games in class.
As he’s passionate about making things that are both fun and challenging, Jochen spends his nights developing mobile games under the XOIris label. Poop City is the first game that is actually polished enough to make it to the mobile app stores.
