Montpellier, France – May 31th 2021: Playdigious SAS, an European games publisher is pleased to annouces its acquisition by Sweden-based group FunRock AB (under name change to Fragbite Group AB).
Fragbite Group has acquired 100% of the shares (directly and through shares exchange) of Playdigious. Following the acquisition Fragbite Group will strenghten its capacity with a new Publishing & Indie games business area.
Playdigious has notably been bringing indie games to mobile in recent years, including some award-winning games like Evoland, Dead Cells and recently Northgard. Launched in February 2021, Dead Cells mobile in China sold over 1 million units and is currently under strong growth.
