FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [20/08/20]
MANCHESTER,20th Aug, 2020: VR games publisher Things3D is delighted to announce that its hit VR shooter Pew Pew, Stuff Dies has just received its first major update.
The hilarious apocalyptic shooter now needs players to keep an eye on the sky, as well as the hordes of alien monsters charging at them from the ground.
The August Unidentified Flying Update sends flying saucers from above, adding a whole new level of insanity to the arena shooter action.
“These exciting new features are based on comments from the VR gaming community, our game designers and our early feedback,” says Apocalypse Hunters CEO Nicolas de Kerchove. “This brand new version of the game will bring more engagement, fun and surprises to all those VR shooter fans!”
UFOs aren’t the only things falling from the skies in the new version of Pew Pew, Stuff Dies. Crates can be blasted out of the sky as they’re air-dropped onto players. These could contain ammunition and power ups, but they could just as easily be a consignment of rabid, savage aliens.
Ammunition allocation has been re-balanced, and an infinite ammo option is one of those tweaks, for players who like to let their trigger fingers do the talking during first contact. Combined with the user experience improvements, the Pew Pew, Stuff Dies update quickly made the game a featured staff favorite on SideQuest.
The game was released as donationware, and can be downloaded now from SideQuest at a recommended donation of just $4.95.
