Nordic Game Goes Live on Steam with Awards Show and Indie Game Showcase

Copenhagen, Denmark – May 14, 2025 - Each year, Nordic Game gathers thousands of industry professionals at Slagthuset in Malmö for one of Europe’s leading games industry events — and for the first time ever, it's bringing that celebration to Steam.

Running from May 19 to May 23, the digital showcase will feature nearly 70 games from past and present Nordic Game showcase participants. Fans can also look out for potential discounts on select titles throughout the event.

The highlight of the event is the live Steam broadcast of the Nordic Game Awards on Thursday, May 22 at 18:30 CEST, marking the first time the show will be streamed directly to the global Steam audience.

Throughout the week, fans can tune into developer talks and livestreamed sessions from the Nordic Game stages, offering behind-the-scenes insights and creative perspectives from developers behind the featured titles.

"Bringing Nordic Game to Steam opens up an exciting new way for us to connect with a broader, global audience," said Jacob Riis, Program Director and Executive Producer at Nordic Game. "The live awards show and streamed content offer a great opportunity for viewers around the world to experience the creativity and talent that define our developer community — no matter where they are.”

Visit the Nordic Game on Steam between May 19–23 to explore the showcase, enjoy livestreamed content, catch the awards show, and look out for limited-time offers – starting at 19:00 CEST on Monday, May 19.
