Finnish developer DragDrop Games is bringing an entirely different kind of space mission to Steam on 23 October 2026. In Moon Sweepers, players join an underfunded lunar cleanup crew tasked with cleaning the Moon. Their starting equipment? A toothbrush.
Working alone or alongside friends in online co-op, players collect lunar dust, ship it off for payment and invest their earnings in better equipment. What begins as a painfully small cleaning job gradually becomes a growing operation, with larger tools, increased carrying capacity, depots and cleaning vehicles.
The Moon isn’t going to clean itself. Management has checked.
Small budget, large crew
The Lunar Surface Department, conveniently abbreviated to LSD has a clear vision: a clean Moon. Providing suitable equipment appears to have been a lower priority.
Up to 16 players can join the same crew, dividing the workload or cleaning together. Whether your friends become dedicated employees or an additional management problem is something you’ll have to discover for yourself.

Every shipment funds the next step. Gather dust, deliver it to a depot and get paid. Then spend your earnings on equipment that makes the next stretch of lunar housekeeping a little less ridiculous. Place depots near your work, expand your operation and watch the dusty surface become clean as you go. The results are visible. So is the patch your friend insists they’ll finish later.
