Jan. 24, 2024 – Fast-paced hack n’ slash MMORPG Vindictus is making room on the battlefield for another heroic fighter, Sou - a powerful swordsman also known as the “Night Raven” who packs both speed and strength in a brutal fighting style. In addition to the deadly swordsman’s arrival, players can participate in the “Sou Celebratory Package” event to acquire all-new attire, enticing rewards to level up quickly and more.
Sou is the latest hero to arrive in NEXON America’s Vindictus. In the globally popular online action game, players can explore the wild depths of Celtic mythology and embark on a thrilling journey featuring gratifying real-time combat and breathtaking visuals. With tons of beastly monsters to slay and a variety of customizable gear, fighters are tasked to become a formidable hero in the glorious world of Vindictus.
Sou the Night Raven Swordsman
After defeating the Son of Heaven from the eastern continent, Sou now travels west wielding dual swords: the “Kodachi” and the “Odachi,” which allow him to perform a combination of powerful, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it attacks. Sou also harnesses a legendary technique known as “Shattered Sky,” which allows for various powerful effects.
Sou’s core skill, “Distant Horizon,” can be used with the Kodachi to quickly slash enemies, and with the Odachi to perform devastating upwards attacks. Sou can also use “Road to Ruin” to charge while slashing enemies. Additionally, useful skills such as “Soaring Dragon” and “Ascension” employ the greatest qualities of each sword to execute perfect combos.
Sou Celebratory Package Event
Vindictus players can celebrate Sou’s arrival during a “Sou Celebratory Package” event that includes formal wedding attire to wear during this winter season, as well as special level up boxes that are granted to newly created characters and those below level 30 until Tuesday, Feb. 27. These gift boxes will help players level up faster according to their current levels. Creating a new character as “Sou” will provide additional rewards per stage, including AP Capsules, TP Potions, Premium Armor Fusion Runes, a new display title and more.
Additional Bonuses
Now through Tuesday, March 26, players will receive extra experience and ability points for completing battles, as well as increased Expertise Proficiency and Crafting Speed. Also, defeating boss battles on weekends and holidays grants an additional Evil Core, a random item dropped by enemies. Depending on the set type of battles, players will also be gifted a Golden Time Coupon, which opens an exclusive Exchange Shop where they can obtain various items and Bonus Coins.
