Fun with vacuum cleaners! Roombattle releases demo on Steam and confirms online multiplayer on launch

[Barcelona, Spain - 5 of february of 2025] From Dust Games we are thrilled to announce the launch of the demo of Roombattle, our first commercial project, coinciding with the Couch Co-op Fest on Steam. In this crazy cooperative party game, you will take control of an adorable vacuum cleaner and fight your friends in chaotic matches of up to 6 players.

 
The demo will be launched on Steam on the 10th of february of 2025 at 7:00 pm CET. At the same time, a small teaser will be published to announce it in our social media.

 
This demo includes
  • Living Room Setting: Three different maps with plenty of interactive elements and obstacles with which crash your vacuum cleaner. Beware of the cactus!
  • 2 Minigames: 
    • Roombout: Don’t let your vacuum cleaner fall into the water or you will lose! 
    • Balloon Rain: It’s raining balloons? We’ll have pop them all! 
  • 6 Power Ups: Crazy modifiers to make the matches more chaotic.
  • 2 Mistery Skills: The winner of the minigame will get a perk to make them (almost) invincible. 
  • Customize your vacuum cleaner: Enjoy up to 8000 different combinations to be the best vacuum divaner
The demo has local multiplayer and supports Steam’s Remote Play Together to enjoy the game everywhere. Also, we are right now working on the native online multiplayer, an on launch feature of the game.

Dust Games is a small game studio based in Barcelona developing its first game, Roombattle, a competitive family friendly party game. Our team was part of the 9th edition of the GameBCN incubation program and the preincubation Level Up.

 
Roombattle, a competitive family friendly party game where the players take control of vacuum cleaners equipped with sharp objects and balloons. The main goal is to be the last vacuum cleaner with balloons. In addition, the game includes a great variety of minigames.
