EGX London 2022 Wraps Up and Announces Dates for 2023

17th October - London, UK - The UK’s largest video games event, EGX London in partnership with Virgin Media, successfully wrapped a couple of weeks ago and drew tens of thousands of visitors to a four-day celebration of all things gaming. Now, dates have been announced for EGX London 2023, returning 12th-15th October.
 
This year’s EGX marked a big return for the video games community, featuring over 250 playable games, Esports tournaments with a £6.5K prize pool and more careers opportunities than ever before. New partnerships allowed for a more interactive experience, as gamers not only got a sneak peak at hotly anticipated games, but also came together for panels, tournaments, trading, cosplay competitions and much more.
 
EGX 2022 highlights:
 
  • Over 250 playable games for fans to enjoy including Sonic Frontiers, Splatoon 3, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Beta and Street Fighter 6.
  • Beloved upcoming indies such as House Flipper 2 and Goat Simulator 3 were available to play for the first time in the UK.
  • Big exhibitors on the show floor includingNintendo, Sega and hardware heavy-hitters like Steam Deck,ASUS, Cyberpower, Lenovo and CCL.
  • Iconic creators of all shapes and sizes supported by TikTok’s very own stand, such as RTGame, Yogscast, Beardageddon, HappyKrakenX and BehavingBeardly. ​
  • Famous voice actors such as Martin Copping, Chad Michael Collins and Jeff Teravainen, taking part in panels and greeting fans.
  • Over 150 panels across 6 stages, and a 200% bigger careers fair compared to 2021.
  • *Bigger and better Esports tournaments featuring a £6.5K prize pool across a wide selection of titles.
