This title is a PC (Steam) port of "Death Smiles I & II," which was released in December 2021.

<Game presentation>
This side-scrolling shooting game was released by Cave Inc. in arcades in 2007. The game's gothic horror graphics, cute character designs by Junya Inoue, and the easy-to-play yet challenging game system made it popular among a wide range of players. 2009 saw the release of the game on home hardware, and the sequel, "Death Smiles II: Merry Christmas in the Magic World", was released in arcades the same year. In 2010, a home version, "Death Smiles IIX Merry Christmas in the Magic World", was released with additional characters, stages, and enhanced graphics. Still loved by fans today, this is one of Cave's most popular shooting game series.
◆What is "Deathsmiles I & II"?
This title includes the first title in the series, "Deathsmiles", its upgraded version "Deathsmiles Mega Black Label", and its sequel "Deathsmiles IIX Merry Christmas in the Magic World” and includes the arranged versions of each game. The game also features a training mode and an online ranking.
In addition, the "5 Maidens" (Lannan, Cattleya, Souffle, Plumeria, and Rosalie) characters from the full-fledged shooting RPG for smartphones "Gothic is a Magical Maiden: Get on with it ! " and characters from "Gothic is a Magical Maiden: Make a Contract ! " will be available to use. A minutious tuning was made for this title, and new voices and demo scenes have been added. You will be able to enjoy the story and the stage conquests with a brand new feeling. The DLC can be used in "Ver 1.1" mode and "Normal" mode in "Deathsmiles" and "Deathsmiles Mega Black Label", both included in this title.
