Global game publisher CFK (headed by Chang-sig Koo) is proud to announce today (1/24) that they will hold a promotional discount on their game lineup to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

These promotional discounts will be held on the Steam and Nintendo Switch™ platforms, with the Nintendo Switch™ sale running from January 30th to February 12th and the Steam sale running from January 24th to February 7th. It will feature discounts up to 80%.

In particular, the most popular games from CFK’s lineup are being discounted in this sale to give players a good chance to add them to their libraries, including Chrono Sword, hitting Steam Early Access last December; steady seller Smilemo; Some Some Convenience Store; and Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage.

Chrono Sword, created by Korean indie game developer 21c.Ducks, is a pixel art soulslike action RPG telling the story of the battered dark gothic fantasy world of Adelnor as players travel between past and future to uncover her secrets. It was released to Steam Early Access on December 6th of last year with hype pouring in from around the globe.

Chrono Sword is a new sort of soulslike action RPG rendered in pixel graphics with a quarter view camera angle instead of the full 3D graphics flooding the soulslike market these days. Since the game’s release, 21c.Ducks has poured heart and soul into developing a strong storyline and enriching the action and RPG elements that are key to the soulslike genre.

Chrono Sword renders its vast, three-dimensional world in a retro pixelated style. Players then embark on a journey through time, venturing freely between past, present, and future as they move through the maps without loading screens as seamlessly as can be. Developer 21c.Ducks have featured Chrono Sword in game shows both at home and abroad, winning a number of awards that speak to their proven gameplay and using feedback gained there to improve on features and level design.

On entering Early Access, the team behind Chrono Sword set a clear roadmap for updates throughout 2025. The overall direction for the Chrono Sword Early Access build is to ▲ stabilize the Early Access release ▲ then add and refine content to increase the overall satisfaction of the player base. The details of each step in this roadmap are planned to be released at a later date.

Smilemo is a game telling the story of protagonist Smilemo as he sets out on his journey to rescue his computer world from a sudden virus infection, all rendered in charming pixel graphics. Players must step into the protagonist’s shoes in order to collect the vaccine code scattered about various storage sites and fight back against the virus. The game has been steadily growing in popularity since its Steam release in 2022 and even after its Nintendo Switch™ release in 2023.

Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage, developed by indie game developer Deerfarm, is the “perfected” version of 2017’s shoot ‘em up (bullet hell) Shikhondo: Soul Eater, improving on the gameplay and adding new modes with the help of CFK to bring the game to the next level. It was released to the globe last April and is planned to be released to the Nintendo Switch™ at a later date.

Some Some Convenience Store is a visual novel created by TalesShop, beloved for a number of their creations, telling the story of new relationships the protagonist forms after randomly downloading a dating app called Some Some. Released on July 25th to Nintendo Switch™ to raving reviews, the game has recently been added to with epilogues for each of the game’s heroine routes. On December 19th of last year, the final of the three DLC packs, Soohee Pyeon’s After Story, was released to complete the Nintendo Switch™ package.

On top of these games, a diverse offering from the CFK lineup is waiting for players, including Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony, Koumajou Remilia : Stranger's Requiem, Motesolo: No Girlfriend Since Birth, Miracle Snack Shop, A Street Cat’s Tale series, Blade Jumper, Demon Go!, My Divorce Story, Wonderboy Returns Remix, High School Crisis, and more. Details about the sale can be found on the CFK publisher page on each platform.

On top of all this, CFK has decided to bring down the prices of a few popular titles for fans of the CFK game lineup. Gamers can pick up Mach Knights: Blood Bagos and Sacred Stones on Steam at a 50% and 70% price reduction, respectively. These discounted prices will hit the stores starting from January 29th (Wednesday).
