São Paulo, September 26, 2025 – Webzen, developer of the legendary MMORPG series MU Online, has been confirmed as another publisher attending this year’s edition of Brasil Game Show. The company chose the event to make the very first global presentation of the new Web3 MU Online, exclusively for the Brazilian press and investors present at the show. The official launch of the game is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.

The project will be unveiled alongside Maxion, one of Webzen’s strategic partners for the title, and will feature an exclusive demo at the company’s booth, located in the B2B area of the largest gaming expo in the Americas. In addition, Richard Song, EVP and Head of Webzen’s IP Business Group, will deliver a keynote at the B2B Session, highlighting Webzen’s IP portfolio and sharing the company’s future vision with the Latin American gaming community.

Marcelo Tavares, CEO and founder of BGS, emphasized that Webzen’s decision to make a business-focused launch announcement reflects the growing B2B role of BGS and Brazil’s importance in the global gaming industry. “Webzen and MU Online have been part of the lives of many Brazilians since the early days of MMORPGs, and having them at the event reflects the importance of our community to the company,” he said. “Being the stage for such an important announcement is a privilege for BGS and its visitors interested in business opportunities.”
