4th Branch plans to release the full version of its block-building simulator blockia on Steam on October 30, 2026 at 17:00 Japan time (08:00 UTC). The new Play mode lets friends enjoy building together online. To celebrate the launch, a 20% discount is planned for 14 days from release.
About blockia
blockia is a block-building simulator with simple controls for children and adults alike. Choose parts, change their colors and orientation, and create and photograph scenes such as little streets and rooms at your own pace. The full version adds the joy of building and sharing creations with friends to the pleasure of creating on your own.
Build mode — Create freely with more than 120 types of parts
In Build mode, already available in the demo, combine blocks and parts for buildings, furniture, nature and decoration to create freely. If you need a starting point, recipes guide you through assembling a creation one piece at a time. Once finished, you can customize it to make it your own.
Photo mode — Capture eye-catching images with high-quality photography tools
In Photo mode, also available in the demo, adjust composition, backgrounds, lighting and color to create your favorite shot. View photos in the in-game album or export them as images to share on social media.
Play mode — Block-building fun together
The full version introduces Play mode, which is not included in the demo. Gather with friends online and enjoy building together.
In Build Battle, everyone creates something based on the same prompt, then shows their work to the group. Even with the same prompt, different ideas and ways of using the parts can lead to very different results. Discovering a friend's unexpected interpretation or a clever idea you hadn't thought of is part of the fun.
Additional content and community
The full version adds new parts, recipes and backgrounds, giving players more ways to build and take photos. The free demo, which includes Build and Photo modes, will remain available after release. New players can try creating in the demo first.
The blockia Discord server and Fun Fan blockia, a community site for sharing and viewing creations, are open. Share a favorite creation, discover inspiration in other players' work and enjoy connecting through your creations.
