MONTREAL, QC – September 04, 2026 – North Side Inc. announces release date and completion of work on multilingual support for Bot Colony _Redux.

The dream of sharing Bot Colony _Redux with the world is becoming reality, as North Side has set an October 30, 2026 date for the game's Early Access release on Steam - now with comprehensive multilingual support.

Speak to Robots In 16 Languages!
The studio hopes to see a global community form around
Bot Colony _Redux's multilingual gameplay. You can use your microphone (or type) to speak to a dynamic cast of intelligent robots in your preferred language, and they'll answer you in that language - with emotive, high quality voices. It's an exhilarating experience to listen to or read in a new language, then say a few words or type in it - and see that you were understood!

Beyond unscripted conversations with characters, you'll also command them to manipulate the 3D world as you hunt a spy on a futuristic Pacific island brought to life in Unreal Engine 5.

Free to Download and Start Playing
Players will receive an initial allocation of LEKS to help them experience gameplay powered by North Side's proprietary natural language understanding (NLU) and cutting-edge generative AI and voice tech. After they use the initial free allocation, players can seamlessly acquire additional LEKS through Steam’s standard checkout to continue playing.

An Exotic Future World Awaits
Bot Colony _Redux has something for fans of many game genres, and gives players the freedom to explore a sci-fi story using their own words, speaking to characters with personality and emotions. No dialogue trees. No prewritten choices. Every playthrough is unique!

About North Side

North Side is an independent game development studio based in Montreal.

The company pioneered situated language as a core interactive gameplay mechanic—language that references objects and entities in a 3D environment. North Side also created a full natural-language-understanding pipeline for games, including parsing, disambiguation, coreference resolution, reasoning, and dialogue management to support dynamic conversations with virtual characters.

Today, the team is developing Bot Colony _Redux, a multilingual sci-fi experience that combines LLMs, speech-to-text, emotive text-to-speech, and Unreal Engine technology to create immersive voice-controlled gameplay.
