[2025-05-14] A South Korean video game publisher ThumbAge Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Champion Studio, has introduced new content to its mobile sports game Boxing Star, including the addition of a Group Competition System.
The newly introduced Group Competition System randomly assigns players to one of three unique competition types while playing League Mode. These include: Star Point Race, where players compete to collect as many Star Points as possible; Revenge Champion, which ranks players based on the number of successful revenge matches; and Gear Modification Champion, determined by the total number of Option Change Tickets used.
The type of competition varies depending on the content being played, and players can access it from League 6 and above. To ensure a smooth player experience, both the competition types and group assignments are rotated regularly.
The newly added jab glove, Ti Pro-U47, features a base effect that stuns the opponent when a jab lands while they are weaving. It becomes more powerful as it levels up.
To celebrate the update, players who enter the coupon code within two weeks of the update will receive Coins and Epic Glove Stock parts. Additionally, players can earn cumulative rewards based on the glove’s growth level by meeting specific conditions. A community quiz event will also be held. Players who answer correctly can win Epic Glove Stock Parts, Gold, and a variety of other rewards.
