Take a relaxing holiday (or not) in co-op puzzle game Escape Simulator’s free new Treasure Island Update

Samobor, Croatia – June 22, 2023 – Ahoy to all treasure hunters roaming the Seven Seas! As part of the roadmap that Pine Studio revealed earlier this month, the free new Treasure Island Update is now available in Escape Simulator on Steam. The update adds a pirate-themed room to the co-op escape room simulator, giving all brave adventurers and swashbucklers  a virtual break from their tiring expeditions.

With the Treasure Island Update, Pine Studio adds another free new room to Escape Simulator. This is part of the developer’s roadmap, which they disclosed earlier this month alongside the announcement that the co-op puzzle game is officially coming to VR. Players are almost able to feel the sand between their toes (in a good kind of way, we promise) as they try to break free from the island’s tropical grasp. 

As befitting an adventure of this magnitude, this free update is accompanied by a new wardrobe for all treasure hunters. With an eyepatch, a dangerous-looking pirate hat and a matching outfit, nothing will stop adventurers from discovering the key to freedom amidst the island’s tangled secrets. As per usual, the assets introduced in the Treasure Island Update will soon be available in the game’s room editor for players to build their very own sand-filled challenges. 

Alongside the release of this free update, the base game is currently available at a discount of 25%. The Collector’s Edition, both the Wild West DLC and Steampunk DLC as well as the soundtrack are 10% off until June 29, where the discounts will continue into the Steam Summer Sale.

The Treasure Island Update is part of Escape Simulator’s roadmap and is one of the two free new rooms that players can expect to see this summer.
